פוטותירפיה. מייקל אייגן ("קשרים חבולים") כותב כי מטופלים שלו הביאו באופן ספונטאני צילומים שלהם ושל סביבתם היומיומית. משתתפי הסדנאות שלי חוזרים ספונטאנית אל האלבומים האישיים ומשפחתיים ומתבוננים שוב בתמונות, ההתבוננות שונה עכשו, שמה לב לרקע, לפרטים הקטנים, למש שחוזר על עצמו בעקביות ומה שמשתנה. צילומים הם תיעוד חי וקיים לרגעים ואירועים שחלפו ואינם, אבל ניתן לשוב ולהתבונן בהם שוב ושוב.
ילדים בטיפול מצלמים את עצמם ואת חייהם ויש להם פתאום הארה והסבר לעינינים רבים שלא ראו אותם קשורים זה בזה. מבוגרים בטיפול מתבוננים בתמונות ילדות ומגלים פרטים שנעלמו עד כה מתשומת הלב. כדברי השיר- "לאט לאט יוצאים הצעצועים ממחסן הזכרונות ורוצים לצאת לצעוק"(רבקה מרים).
